Betty from Honduras

For over 20 years, I always had a tape recorder with me to interview healers.

Now, that has been replaced by my famous green bag. Always full of toys, balls, dolls and water guns for kids.

Puts Red Lobster to shame. FIsh caught in the morning. You pick your own out of big bucket. You never see a scrap of fish left on the plate. Lake breeze, magic. For two people, drinks and everything, $11 including tip.

This was in Nicaragua. This woman is making a drink called Ponche. It is very hot milk, spices, egg yolks and alcohol. She turns the wooden spoon constantly which adds energy to the drink.

Pina colada. Real pineapple, coconut, a lot of rum. Only $1.70

This is repollo, fermented cabbage. Totally different than sauerkraut. More like Kim-chi, which is expensive in America. But this is free at the lake. Phenomenal for health & digestion.

These are hardened criminals in prison. I brought three bags of gifts and food for everyone. They were extremely nice. They said no one else had ever brought them anything. No one from the church ever came by. Only Loren.

These are people who make their living looking for valuables at the dump. I gave them a lot of gifts. These were really nice people. Very grateful.

Friend little Sammy.
